Submission Terms and Conditions

  • Closing date for submissions is 30 November 2006. No submissions will be accepted after this date.
  • The Selection Committee decision will be final when choosing which applications will be included in the conference.
  • The conference language is English and all presentations and handouts must be in English.
  • All submitted abstracts will be acknowledged within 10 working days of receipt.
  • All prospective speakers will be notified by week beginning Monday 8th January 2007.
  • Selected speakers will be sent the provisional programme chosen by the Committee together with a speaker's registration form and documentation, being the formal notification of acceptance as a speaker. Any confirmed speaker who cancels their participation after the closing date and fails to appear at the conference will jeopardize the right to present papers at future conferences. Speakers cancelling their appearance and presentation must do so in writing to the Conference Secretariat.
  • The Speaker agrees to submit a speaker biography and photograph (if available) to the Conference Secretariat to be included in the Conference information. This must be submitted by 1st March 2007, if to be included in the Conference Information.
  • Conference organisers will provide a standard Power Point logo pack to all successful presenters.
  • All papers must be submitted in the English language and sent to the Conference Secretariat in electronic format on CDROM or alternatively via email by 18th May 2007.
  • All speakers who are selected for the papers programme will be sent full details and the official speaker's registration form well in advance of the event.
  • Speakers will be entitled to a reduced rate of £200/ €310 and this will be applicable to two speakers for each session. Accomodation and travel costs are the responsibility of all accepted speakers who are notified that they are included in the official programme.
  • These terms and conditions are considered and accepted and binding by each speaker who is confirmed as a participant in the 8th EUSE Conference.
  • The organisers retain the right to adjust or modify these terms and conditions at any time according to the circumstances applicable to the final programme.
